{"id":6302,"date":"2016-11-15T05:50:38","date_gmt":"2016-11-14T19:20:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wetshutter.com\/?p=6302"},"modified":"2016-11-15T05:50:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T19:20:38","slug":"supermoon-on-the-grey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wetshutter.com\/?p=6302","title":{"rendered":"Supermoon on the Grey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The moon was magnificent this evening, but not to start with.<\/p>\n<p>The plan was simple; &#8230; find a place where the moon will appear on the horizon of the Adelaide hills so as to silhouette the white tower of the Mount Lofty scenic lookout.<\/p>\n<p>Google maps is a wonderful tool but finding line of clear sight vantage points is not one of its strong points but with a little creativity I managed to set up my tripod balanced on the edge is of multi-story car park with a tiny windowed view mostly encumbers by local trees.<\/p>\n<p>As nature always has the last say the clouds stayed stubbornly on that grey horizon delaying the moon&#8217;s &#8216;Supermoon&#8217; appearance until it had crested both.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: Robert Rath, &#8216;Supermoon on the Grey&#8217; 1\/320a f\/4.5 ISO640 200mm<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The moon was magnificent this evening, but not to start with.
