Great artists come and go from our attention, from my attention, as whims and tastes change but every once in a while someone comes out of nowhere and changes everything.<\/p>\n
I discovered Jacob Collier on YouTube. It was his enthusiasm that first captured my attention, then his musicianship and then was completely blown away with his command of harmony both technically and emotionally.<\/p>\n
Listening to his music, his unusually evocative harmonies and progressions, his unbounded creativity and amazing collaborations has led me to other musicians and styles of music I\u2019d never had thought to explore and discover how much I\u2019d love them.<\/p>\n
