Looking out from our apartment window there was a wonderful view of the Danube river as it made its way through the little Austrian town of Aschach.
Taking a step back and recomposing, the water and passing river barges melted away into some dreamy reminder of our time staying in my cousin’s family home.
When I first framed this image I wanted to place the ovals perfectly in the center keeping the geometry a mirrored both horizontally and vertically. Somehow trying to perfect just felt wrong with those dreamy half shapes beyond so I just accepted the triple visioned view as is.
