The most common natural colour in Ireland is green, green grass, green treas, green hills and green mountains.
This twilight over Cork however was a blazing ochre yellow as the illusive sun finds a way into the evening clouds.
To the right is Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral with the Cork Christmas Ferris Wheel. In the centre is the Saint Nicholas Church and to the right is the Holy Trinity Parish – Russian Orthodox Church.
Just to the right of the Russian Orthodox Church you can just make out the parapet of the Red Abby Tower, Cork’s oldest standing medieval building from the 14th century.
