Growing up in a country town far from the ocean pelicans were exotic and beautiful birds that belonged to far away places and movies like ‘Storm Boy’.

Now I delight in finding them live where ever they please, even alongside busy suburban transport routes.

I see many tens of pelicans a week now on the days that I have to travel to work but they will always be exotic and beautiful and I will never tire of them.
